My son and I will be there, camping at staging. I may end up being the one that rides on the tank of his bike!

I can't make it this year. Our Gov has decided to call me up for the day to do some post deployment BS, of all the days of the year to do that to me.

Round # 1 in Roselawn was a HUGE success. 214 riders!!
I am hoping the turnout in Kalkaska this weekend will also exceed 200. The trail is marked and the route sheet is completed. I will be sending Smitdog a copy and asking for help (AGAIN!) to post it here.
I look forward to seeing everyone this weekend. PLEASE bring a friend!!
If you have any questions, you can post them here. I will be at the staging area all day on Friday. We will also have an enduro school and riders meeting at 9:30 on Saturday.

OUCH...that hurts.....

The clock worked well for the first check, but when we walked to the second check I bumped a button and advanced the time by 5 minutes. I felt like shizz the rest of the day. I do not think ET has forgiven me yet.

Shizz happens.... But I thought that it should have been thrown out. To throw out a check after scoring is just a click of a button in MotoTally, but in this case I had to go back into a couple hundred score cards and make the adjustment.

Don't hold me to this, but I thought I saw a club member synch and set all the clocks via satellite. True? If so, could this be used to "fix" a check clock that for whatever reason is messed up?

My favorite days are when I'm in trouble with her and her mom.

Erin dropped 21 points -1 late and 20 hot. :bang: She wants to redeem her slef this weekend
watch for flying roost there Ted!!!!!

I figure the only way I can help ET this weekend is to not be a check captain and NOT TOUCH HER BIKE! :|

I haven't received a pink slip -yet - so I'm about ready to go for Saturday. Roost is not a problem, not easy to stay that close to Erin.

I know someone that burns enough things up and down. Why pick on an enduro course?

Weather looks good for this weekend....possible rain on Thursday and Friday will keep the dust down for a sunny Saturday and Sunday.
I am getting a lot of calls and some emails from people who are new to the enduro scene. They plan to attend this weekend. If you see a newbie, please be part of the enduro experience and give them a hand. Similar to Roselawn, we will have an enduro school before the riders meeting on Saturday morning.

What do you want to teach these kids? If Barclay teaches the enduro school all the youngsters will learn how to do is go to strip joints. Is this what we want? We don't need a bunch of kids enjoying the finer things in life and smiling too much, now do we Mr. Wolverine423? ;)

Does this mean we'll miss DW's "How to make the enduro pass" class? Or is that something better learned by experience?

Since DW has been attending Anger Management Classes and has the guideline card taped to his tank for reference he should be able to show how to make non agressive passes now. :p

.... DW has found the passes don't have to be so aggressive if the rider he's passing has a rag stuck in the airboot...

Actually Dons is correct as I’m trying really hard and things are good right now. But I have a hare scramble coming up on May 6th…..

Z8, I would have offered my services for the enduro training class, but I figured that I would sport a better chance standing before a drunken Mexican firing squad.

PS. Any of you middle aged crazy or young rebellious thrill seekers that wanta shoot the shizz on offroading I’ll be camping Friday night at the staging area. Maybe I can share with you some sign up & line cutting techniques…. ;)

This is going to be a GREAT weekend for this event. Getting a little rain today, forecast for the weekend, dry and highs in the mid 60's.
