"Shut up, you don't know me.
Shut up, you don't know me.
Squeal like a pig when you big f%&*ing, big f@#$ing, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" - Deftones from Adrenaline.

"Soon I discovered that this rock thing was true,
Jerry Lee Lewis was the devil,
Jesus was an architect previous to his career as a prophet.
All of a sudden, I found myself in love with the world,
so there was only one thing that I could do.
Ding a Ding Dang my Dang a Long Ling Long." - Alain Jourgensen, Ministry "Jesus Built my Hot Rod!" (NOT Chrisitian metal!)

"When I woke up this mornin' I felt a pang.
I was hungerin' for some apple pie.
Stumble in the bathroom, hung my hog a little bit.
Washed the sleep out of my eye.
Oh yeah, it's gonna be a fine day.
Scratched myself a bit.
Poured me out a bowl-a corn chex.
Closest thing I could find to apple pie.
Lingerin' taste of toothpaste
Made the milk go down a bit funny.
But you know, them chex they do satisfy.
Oh yeah, this'll be a fine day.
So, after my mornin' rise-n-shine and eat-n-clean.
Had my mind set to hit them streets.
Drizzle from the night left cold puddles out.
Had my black stomp-boots on my feet.
It's my day.

Since I was in kneepants my pop had tried to make me realize. If I
set my mind down to it I could be a big man in the public eye. So
with my big blue collar on, I set out to find the easy way. What an
ice cold bath it was when I found you had to pay to play. To taste
the taste it's a tease that never would subside. The taste is strong
but soured by my learned eyes. Well, if a woodchuck could chuck wood,
he'd get down on his knees to pray. This little snappy boy might see
the light this ground hog's day." - Primus, Groundhog's Day.

My vote goes in for Metallica, Staind, Limp. Does anyone remember the one hit wonder band "Gorky Park" who had the hit "Bang" back in the mid 80's? If you do and have a way of me getting it...:-) Let me know and I'll owe you.

BigLou-- DRI! (Dirty Rotten Imbeciles). Dave's the big fan in our family. I do remember seeing one of their videos on MTV's Headbanger's Ball many years ago.

Name this singer/band:

"Don't want no part of that vegetarian scene,
I won't buy me a pair of designer jeans.
No redwood hottub to my name,
I've got all that I want and if it's all the same to you,
I don't need a course in self-awareness to find out who I am.
And I'd rather have a Big Mac or a Jumbo Jack
Than all the beansprouts in Japaaan!"

We have a winner!!!
Your prize is the use of BigLou as your pit sally for the next DW!;)

In answer to your question Lori-
That'd be Weird Al
"I may as well be hyper,
As long as I'm still around.
'Cause I'll have lots of time to be laid back,
When I'm six feet under ground. "

All are real songs written by a friend of mines dad

He is a country writer in Nashville and is very successful at that. These songs have actually been recorded and released, none of which ever became as popular as Does Fort Worth Ever Cross Your Mind and dozens of more just like that. The following are some of the less known:

If I say I love you
Consider me drunk.

Yo da lady ya
Yo da lady yo
Yo a liar

My fav:
I'd like to thank the folks that made the beer called lite
Since my baby left me I've been drinking beer day and night
One third less calories what do ya think about that
I can drink myself over you and still not get fat.

I'm not sure I'd consider it to be a country song. More like a drunken, jilted, ex-lovers ballad sung by a country artist. Of course true country artists like Willie, Waylon and Johnny don't consider Garth to be a country artist. ;)

Then there's always the classic Ted Nugent single that was on the flip side of Cat Scratch Fever. Does anyone remember that one?

Didn't Accept do "Balls to the wall"?
Lets not forget King Diamond, and Slayer

or in keeping with the eighties theme, name the band;

"Wake up dead in a plywood bed six feet from the reast of your life. . ."

Does the opening guitar solo from "Great White Buffalo" count as lyrics?

Also, we can't forget "Terminus Eldorado"

You guys (and Lori!) knock this off!

I gotta get some work done today! Offroadr, you can "Say What You Will" about Fastway, but they had several good songs. Do you know how they got their name? UFO bassist Pete Way and Motorhead's "Fast" Eddie Clarke.

PAPA-That is my band, man. Not only an infectious disease, but an infectious speed-metal band as well! You should check out their website. They are still going strong with John Bush singing. Remember him from Armored Saint? Remember the song Chemical Uphoria?

Pred-That guitar riff in Great White Buffalo gives me goosebumps. I think I'll throw on a little "Double Live Gonzo" when I get home tonight.

Now-Don't you people have jobs?!!!:debil:

She was a fast machine...

is the opening lyrics to one of my favorite songs. In fact it's one of my favorite albums. Yes, I said album as in vinyl. First purchased it in December of 1980. When I could finally afford to upgrade to CD's, it was the first disc I bought.

You... shook me all night long!
