In a post mentioned earlier about the bike going sideways off a jump but no one really answered how to bring it back and make it straight again. Whats the best way of doing this. Ive seen instances at a local track where people bring it back with their leg by just pushing it back straight.

I kick my leg back while in the air as well. But I do this to get more weight over the front end, so I can bring the front end down. I don't tap the rear brake to bring the front down, unless it is a emergency. But they might do it for a different reason (like you said), just talk to some of them. If my rear end kicks sideways, I turn into the direction of the kick (if it's not a real bad kick, this usually stops it) and then drop the front end to to start steering early before the rear touches down.

A fist full of throttle will help too. If you look at the guys that are really whippin' it flat, at the apex of the jump they gas it hard and kick with the outside leg in one motion to bring it back. If done right it looks soooo cool!
