i have a 96 cr 250.the stock main jet size is 175. when i took the carb apart i found a 185 main in it.
i have a fmf gnarly pipe on it and i just bought a rad valve for it.i went to fmf web site to find the right jetting for my bike with a gnarly pipe.i also went to boyesen web page,and found out that both recomended a 172main jet.since they both recomend a leaner jetting should i start out with a 175 172 or a 170
i guess im a looking for a theory and a good starting point.
WE STILL HAVE SNOW ON THE GROUND SO TESTING IS NOT A OPTION YET.
