Well if it was an attempt at comedy then we all know why the host and his guests are working for fox and not a comedy channel.

Canada has less population than California yet we have over 2500 troops in one of the most dangerous zones in Afghanistan. Those troops were committed very quickly after September 11/2001.

I was going to stay away from this one but...
Remember 911 was aimed at the United States but was meant as a wound to all freedom loving people. Neither side will ever agree with the other on whether the war is appropriate or not but if we just let the people supporting terrorists go along unchallenged the world today would be much different.
I could care less if the soldiers killed in this action are US or Canadian they are fighting to defend MYfreedom as well as that of those who oppose the war, and I grieve the loss equally.
This was a lame attempt at humor by a group that should stick to reporting on the latest dog bite in town and leave the real news and the real comedy to professionals.

I still prefer FOX to the other liberal slanted "news" agencies but I watch them all to see what they have to say and weigh their validity against their agenda.

That would not be from a sense of protecting the USA but rather because of their ties to the United Kingdom (Notice that to tis day they still use portraits of British Royalty on their money). The US at the time was more of an isolationist country helping the allies but staying out as best we could. When Japan attacked Pearl Harbor that changed things as a direct attack was not to be overlooked. Eventually it was inevitable that the USA would be drawn into the war but Japan sped the process up.
Regardless of historic battles Canada has always and will always be a close friend to the USA.
