front fender

anyone try to put a late model KX fender in there KDX?

I dont like the stock "flap" that is on my bike. it hangs down too low in the front and the tires just slings everything up and over the front lip into my face.

I already ordered the fender, but just curious what i may have to do to make it fit.

I have a 94 CR 250 Fender on my KDX. Had to Drill 2 new holes to line up with the hole
pattern.

I'm using an '03 KX250 front fender on my 220. It's a UFO brand. The holes all lined up. I just had to drill them out slightly larger.

How does the color match up on that fender? And does it look a lot better?

It's a very good color match. I think it looks better, just a matter of personal preference though. I tried to post a link to a picture of it, but it keeps telling me I can't post a link. Thanks, the stock fender looks too plain IMO, I want a better looking one.
