I recently bought a kdx200 to rebuild but it is not an official uk import,it is a 1990 G2 model. The top tubes on the front forks are badly corroded and worn as you can see from the pictures below. The top tubes measure about 50mm in diameter. Can anybody tell me if there are any other forks that will fit and anything else i would have to change to make them work.

Thankyou for any possible help

The best thing to do is to swap the whole front end over from a kx125 or 250, although this involves pressing the stem out from one clamp into another. There's plenty of info on this forum about it if you do a search. It's one of the most common topics on here. Just do a search

The images don't work for me, but if the pitting is really bad and you're not wanting to spend much money, I'd just try to find another standard set of forks for the Kdx200
