I'm tossing the old rear fender and getting the Maier and would like to toss the front plate as well. What front plate works the best on the bike? I purchased the 96-02 KX front plate and while it will fit, it will require a little cutting which I would like to avoid. The one I got came in white only which is fine. I'd like to stay with white or go green if needed.

Thanks -

Mark

I purchased a fromt number plate meant for a 96-98 Suzuki RM 250 for my 89 KDX. I had to make a special mount for it to fit, but it wasn't hard. The advantage of this number plate is that it has guards on it that protect the front of the fork tubes. I removed the ugly accordian boots protectors and replaced them with SealSavers but needed a way to protect the exposed fork tubes. This number plate works great and looks pretty cool too.

Just for fun, try putting "Front Number Plate" in the search... up there ^^^^

Click search, advanced search, enter that and select the KDX forum.
