It seems like after every ride the front tire on my son's XR100 is slipping on the rim. At some point it's going to slip enough that the valve stem rips out, which of course will happen when we are the furthest from the truck.

Does anyone have a solution other than drilling & installing a rim lock? I thought about maybe breaking the tire off the rim & using some kind of adhesive, but that will be a hassle when time to change tires.

If you've installed a rim lock, where did you get it & how do you know which size to order?

Install a rim lock... Also, Remove the valve stem nut off the tube. If the tire moves on the rim, it will rip the valve stem off the tube. Without the nut, it will just suck the tube into the rim.

www.eastcoastwheels.com can get anything you need.
