FRP Tourque Ring = drool?

I recently installed the FRP torque ring on my '00 kdx 200. After riding last weekend I noticed some drool around the cylinder. I know the torque ring is a lot thicker than the stock copper ring, so my question is should I be concerned about the drool or is it to be expected?

A little drool doesn't concern me at all.

No worry. Put new springs on & use a Hi-Temp Silicone

I'm thinking of installing a torque ring. Are you satisfied with the change in power and did you have any problems with alignment of the mounting brackets?

I haven't really noticed a difference in performance. I'm gonna ride again this weekend and see how it goes. I'll keep ya posted

i had a kdx and put the frp ring on it.....did not notice any difference at all

Same here, all i got was drool. Took it back off and did the same frisbee act as with the air box lid. :laugh:
