Ive just recently purchased my first bike and I'm experiencing a gas leak out of the carb. It seems to be coming out of the fuel bowl. Is there any way to stop it without taking the carb apart?

You will need to take the bowl off of the carb. It is probably a stuck float or needle. Clean everything out with B12. I am assuming that you are turning off the fuel valve when it is not running...

FYI - The post above was assuming that the gas is leaking out of the overflow line. If gas is leaking from the bowl itself, you may need a new gasket.

Tap the float bowl with a peice of wood or a soft hammer. Sometimes a peice of dirt will get stuck between the float valve and seat. If that doesn't help pull it down for a cleaning and inspection.
