gas leaking out of tubes

every time I turn on the gas, gas leaks out of the overflow tube and the tube that drains out of bottom and it wont stop leaking. I just clean out the carb and adjusted the float in the carb and now when i turn the gas on it leaks everywhere.
need alittle assistance, thanks

Float valve is either worn out or has something holding it open. Take the float bowl off and inspect.

+1 on That Sounds Like a Stuck Or Sticking Float.Inevitably a worn component in the Float Bowl.

Not likely this, but it happened to me. . .

There was a very small crack in the threaded area of the drain plug/screw of the carb. This was allowing leakage even though the float was fine.

More likely what they said, above.
