GOld valves

Im going to be getting kx forks for my bike. I was going to have my shop revavle my base vavles but i can get gold vavles and since race tech give you a vavling chart i can do the vavling myself. My question is will gold vavles help for trail riding? And what exactly do they do? thanks

IMO, I think you should try the right springs and remove two shims from the stock valve stack first.
