I've been looking at (and started using) Golden Spectro premix concentrate. For mixing instructions it says-
52:1 (normal)
42:1 (severe conditions)
64:1 (technical conditions)
It doesn't mention following the motocycle manufacturer's recommendations.
Even though it's says "concentrate", I'm wondering what gives them the nerve to suggest such lean oil/gas ratios, when a 100% synthetic such as Honda HP is strict on 32:1.
Also, it seems that I used the stuff thirty years ago in my DKW - same 12 oz bottle and same mixing recommendations. I would think that the formula has changed over the years.
Anyone have any experience with this oil? Craparral has a ton of it on their shelves, so somebody must be using it.
