while we are at the subject of camera testing, here it goes a little story:

some time ago i bought a polarizer filter. a good one "soligor" brand.
why i know it´s good? because at the same time there was at the photography shop a ""pro"" buying the same piece for a lens testing.

some time after, i really was in need for a neutral density of at least 4 stops and a ND graduated filter for a shot. so i was near by the same shop and go buy them. cheap actually...
i never bought any thing like that because of my dubious quality of most chinese filters.

after some time i noted that i was shaking lot more than before, maybe have some cardio problem i guess.
no, i was not.

shooted with canon 550d, ef-s 55-250 lens @250mm:

100%crop

pretty tree :)

more to came later...

i belive it´s a wise moove to protect your lenses with those uv inexpensive filters.

or not.

more or less the same shot but with a ND4 filter that only takes 2 stops of light:

100% crop

next shot, polarizer filter:

100% crop

now the best,
ND graduated filter, smooth transition, 2 stops. (actually is only one)

100% crop

the same as before but with the filter rotated 90 degrees:

100% crop
