I need some help on what to get my girlfriend for Valentines. We've been goin out for about a month (well 1 month this Sun.) Anyways, what are some good things to get girls for Valentines? I was thinking maybe like a dozen roses and take her out for dinner or something. Any ideas or tips will really help. Thanks

I'd say you're on the right track, Honda Rider. Roses (and a card!) and dinner are perfect, especially for someone you've only been dating a month. It starts getting tricky after a couple of years, though!

STOP!

Don't you know you should always dump your girlfriend just before a holiday? That way you save time, money, and dissappointment.

Trust me, everyone will be happier in the long run.;)

So who made these rules anyway? Maybe us guys want to be surprised by something. You know, a gift basket with some 2 stroke oil, a jersey, some stickers, maybe a gasket kit, how about some new riding socks, or maybe a couple of new tires! I won't hold my breath though, my wife's B-day IS Valentine's Day. Can't I just get a break!? Take my wife, please!

I got a good one, and it't not expensive. Go to walmart or some other store like that and get like ten little gifts that remind you of her. Like you can get a box of Hot tamalies, because you "think she's hot" or a hershy bar because she is so sweet or a little cheap calculator cause you think she so smart, or a scented candle cause you think she smells good, you get the point. But the best gift you give her is a flower that you can make. Take about 3 or 4 coffee filters, the round kind, and fold them in half twice, so you have a quater of a circle. Then twist it up so it resembles a flower, like a rose. Get a red marker and color it red and spray it with a cologn that wear. it might seen a little cheezy, but it's something that you made and it has sentimental value. Then, the build up of a gift is almost as good as the gift itself. Tell her that you are going to get her 10 gifts for valentines day and each day, give her a hint about one or two of them. you can say "my first gift reminds me of what i thought about you the the first time i saw you"(the hot tamales)

So far thats the best gift my girlfriend said i gave her, even more then the dinners and flowers, but if you want to go all out, diamonds are a girls best friend:p . Thier eyes open up like a 12 year old boy that just saw naked breasts:eek: .

good luck

I once told a girlfriend in advance that she wasn't getting anything for valentines day because I thought the whole thing was ridiculous.

She didn't get anything.

I'll never do that again.

Learn from your mistakes

Did you know that when a girl says, "You don't have to get me anything, I am just happy to be with you.", she really doesn't mean it, you should probably get her something.;)

Im with Elk, you can take the wife but you have to take the 2 kids, the dog and the mortgage too. Its a package deal, take it or leave it. Its a limited time offer ending after Valentine Day.

Hey, does she ride? If so, tires are always a good bet!

Last Mother's Day I got a '00 KDX 200...hmmm...what should I expect for Valentines Day?

Seriously, though, dinner/flowers/card oughta go over just fine!:)

Thanks for all the ideas. The whole flowers, card, and dinner thing should work I think. But what type of flowers, should I just go w/ a dozen roses or mix it up a little???? Price doesn't matter.
