I've found a new leftover 2003 KDX 220 within 150 miles from home. $2700.00 is that a good price? Any changes from 03 to 05 other than graphics? Is the little 220 gonna pull my 260 lbs around at race speeds? Oh I got a big bore DRZ for the real fast stuff. Any and all help will be appreciated !!!

Also does this bike come with KYB or Showa components?

If it's new and never ridden then that sounds like a steal -- in fact, it would be a good deal even if it was used to some extent. I defer to others about your other questions. The KDX line hasn't changed much in 20 years. The front suspension is a soft but you can revalve it or switch out the front end with a KX front end, which myself and others have done.

Till 2-weeks ago, I rode a 95 KDX200, weighing in at 220 w/o gear, it pulled me just fine, I just bought my son a 99 220 (stock pipe) and it's the same as the 03's and it hauls a** compared to the 200, the torque is much greater.
Since I sold my bike I bought a 2000 KTM 250 EXC, I would say this bike has 30% more pull than the 220 mostly on top and feels lighter, but I still think the KDX is a nicer all around bike.

Well, unfortunately, I can't beat you there, but you should be pretty happy, cause that sounds like a GOOD deal
