Read on Drudge this morning that Senator John Ensign (R) from Nevada received a hand written note from Joint Committee on Taxation Chief of Staff, Tom Barthold confirming the penalty for failing to pay the up to $1,900 fee for not buying health insurance.
Violators could be charged with a misdemeanor and could be charged a $25,000 fine or spend up to a year in jail.
Now, if ya can't afford to buy health care, how are ya gonna pay the $1,900 fee for not buying it. :coocoo:
At least while in jail our health care will be free.
Also, how many of you think your motocross injuries will be covered under the new Government health care program? That will be considered a dangerous activity and will not be covered. Then, what else will be considered a dangerous activity? Smoking? Eating at McDonalds? Mountain biking?
Question. If someone yells "LIAR" in a crowded room full of politicians, how does anyone know which one he was talking about? :rotfl:
