Guess what I got for my B-day 6-1-04

Well some know already because I found out before my birthday but only a week and 1/2 early... so it still counts as a present right?

I'm gonna be a Daddy. :aj: Due January 28th

We honestly planned the pregnancy around DW04. Sarah wanted to start in January and I did the math and said we better wait till Feb-March. She said why and I said DirtWeek is Sep27-Oct2 and I want to be there when the baby is born. :laugh:

She laughed and said okay.

So, my day goes like this. Work all day, protest my property taxes and win, my pregnant wife cooks me my favorite dinner with B-day cake and tells me my present is in the back of her car but I had to go get it... It was a portable air compressor that I have been wanting for the garage/track. After eating too much we sit through a monsoon/hail storm and am now back in front of the computer for about 6 more hours of work... but hey, I have a baby on the way, a new air compressor and a wife that loves me even though planned our pregnancy around DW (she knew before hand what she was getting herself into, no false advertising her, so don't feel sorry for her).

I couldn't agree more. Things have been so much better since I got mine. They are the greatest. :cool: Just think of all the new toys you will get to buy to compliment your new addition. Air rotary grinder, air impact wrench, air hose reel, etc, ect. :laugh:

Babys are fun too. :yikes: :rotfl:

I know how you feel Thump. My wife is due in 9 weeks with our first child. It's an exciting time.

I'm glad to read a lot of postive comments from fellow DRNers. The thought of being a dad and having such a huge responsibility is a bit nerve racking. But I'm sure everyone feels like that at first.
