Hey there.. maybe somebody can help me.. Have just gotten pitbike for my 11 yr old son.. Seems the stator plate is broke and now it wont start at all.. I am very new to all this and a single mom.. can anyone help me find this part or direct me in the right direction? having the most difficult time.. someone please.... looking forward any info..

It would help to know the type of bike. I am asuming its a horizontal clone engine, if so call up Vince at T-Bolt USA if you have any questions, but these should fit. Let him know "the junk man" sent you ;)


Here is a replacement stator plate (reuse your own flywheel, make sure the keyway is not broken)

Or if you want to add some zip to the engine here is an inner rotor kit. Elimintate the large heavy flywheel with a small lightweight one for a faster reving engine. Downside is the engine will stall easier at low rpm and be slightly harder to start with only half kicks. I have one on my SSR90R pit bike.

Glad to be of help. It will take some mechanical ability and tools to do the job, but its nothing that a bit of research and use of a manual for a Honda CRF50 will cure. Your engine is pretty similar to the CRF50 so dissasembly and reassembly will be virtually the same as far as the stator is concernd.
