Hello everyone, I've been doing reasearch on this and numerous other forums for what seems like forever.

As of last weekend, I am now the new owner of a 2001 KDX 200!

It's my first dirt bike, my first two stroke, and my first Kawi.
I've always ridden Honda quads and trikes.

Loving it so far. I've put about 100 miles on it!

Any mods? How is the jetting? Were most of the bearings (rear suspension and steering) greased by the previous owner? Jetting and greasing now can save you a lot of problems down the road.

Previous owner sent front forks and rear shock out to be set up for his weight, around 220 lbs.
I'm 180 but it feels good to me! Original rear spring included.

He installed a Gnarly Woods pipe and Turbine Core Silencer.
Also installed were a set of ProTaper SE bars and aluminum bark busters.

I was told jetting was stock, it does run on the rich side. Will get into jetting in the near future.

Bike was greased when purchased by the previous owner, I will also be doing this soon.
