Hey guys i just recently got my first dirt bike which I've been wanting for years now, and it's awesome :) ! I've got a 2000 YZ250. This was the first motorcycle I've ever ridden, but it wasn't terrible learning since I already knew how to drive a manual car. Anyways I can't wait for the summer to go riding! So far I've replaced on it the clutch cable, minor odds and ends like one of the caps in the swing arm and removing all of the stickers on it from the previous owner. I've been to the Buffalo Range riding park, but it was to difficult for my abilities at this point, I want to check out the Fox Valley Riding Park and the Cheese Trail in Wisconsin. We have a number of people here that are in Wisconsin. Many of them go to Fox Valley. Hopefully they will pop in and say hi!
The YZ is a great starter bike to own. Relatively easy on the maintenance and a good tractable ride. My son has one, and he really seems to enjoy it.
