Help Need: Hinson Clutch and 01 CR250

HI,

I just recently put in a hinson clutch basket into my 01 cr250. A friend says when using hinson DO NOT use the stock washer that goes between the inner hub and the clutch basket. The dealer says to use the washer. Anyone advice out there?

I have installed two and used the washer on both occasions without problems.
