Welcome Swett!!! I just passed a little ways north of you yesterday. I was coming from New Orleans and heading back to Austin. Tried crawdads for the first time while on my trip. The tails are great but I wasn't drunk enough to suck the junk out of the heads. :laugh:
Suck the heads....ewww....I've been living here for 14 yrs and I still can't bring myself to do it...! Had us a good boil yesterday...beer & crawfish..Does life get any better?
Yeah the waiter at the restaurant we were at was a total riot. He told me the heads were the best part. LOL I told him "Here, you can eat all mine then."...and he did. :) He stuck is finger inside one of them and said "Right here, see that greenish yellow stuff? That's the best part." Then he pulled out a finger full of the goop and licked it off declaring "mmm, that's good". I laughed my ass off and told him he could eat all the "goop" off my plate he wanted. :laugh:
