Hole in side casing...

Just got back from up north and when i was riding my chain got wrapped around my oil drain bolt while riding and ripped it out along with 2 inches of the side casing...now from what i remember the oil pan doesn't have much pressure running through it so would i be able to jb weld this back together?

2 inches is a big hole. I would have a pro weld it at the minimum.

Ive seen something like that JB'd before, but it aint pretty. Id imagine that a welder is going to charge you at a minimum of 90 bucks. Id find a side case or get a new one before having it welded, thats just me.
