Always had my bike ('01 Yz250) set up with 4" (102mm) sag. Last night I had some extra helpers at the track and decided to experiment with different sag settings. I had always thought that the sag setting affected turning and stability only, was I ever wrong. At 95-97mm the rear end became very plush with no other changes.
So, the question is what am I changing that is so sensitive? Valving, linkage ratios, weight balance,.....
I had given up with spinning the clickers to get the rear to feel this good, so how can 1/4" of ride height change so much, or do I just have a sensitive posterior?
