I got a spiral fracture of the left fibula and tibula on Jan 18th the Dr still will not let me put any weight on it. All total I had seven breaks one compond just above the ankle. I just can't stand not to ride. Has anyone had anything like this and how long did it take to recovery,

the real question is "What are you doing nutrition-wise to assist your body to heal"?
Obviously whatever your diet is right now is not working because your bones are not mending. All that cooked, fried, sugary, canned, processed "food" is just dead calories!!! Eat something with its vitality intact if you want to be vital. Fresh uncooked food is the only thing that meets that requirement. Also I'd recommend buy Calcium Hydroxyapatite from the health food store. Its proven better than all other calciums at helping bones.

I broke my fibia 15 years ago and it took about a year before it was good to go. I did have two casts and 3 operations. I was not riding dirt bikes then, but i could have ridden after about 7 months but it would have hurt. I broke my femur Sept 2002 and just was released by my Doc today. I rode my second enduro last weekend with no pain since the break.
