I have an 04 KX85 that has a grooved clutch basket so its time for replacment. How in the heck do you get the hub nut off for what looks like the first time? I purchased a motion pro hub tool and I cant get the nut to budge. I looks like the nut has been peened to the shaft at the factory.
Should be a washer folded over against the nut, knock it flat with a flathead screwdriver. You should then be able to undo the nut with an impact gun or a breaker bar and the clutch holder you purchased.
1/2 inch impact wrench is quickest and easiest. I found one at a body shop supply for $59. The way my kid abuses clutches I'll get my money's worth out of it I'm sure.
