*71 I think. I'm not sure, but if I remember correctly, that's the command. You used to have to disable it when your modem dialed up. Check the phone company's website.

*70 is the standard. I would look in the front of you phone book. It should have instructions incase the phone company did not follow standard. You should be able to pick the phone up and dial *70 and the you will get a conformation followed by dial tone. Dial your number and you will not be disturbed. If you want to use it for the number string for dialing the internet you can just put the number in as *70,,nxx-xxxx That should make it so you don't get kicked offline if someone calls you. IF that is the problem as you phone company about Call forward busy. That forwards you number to a preset number if your busy. You could do a cell phone or there is a company that has an 800 number and they will E-mail you the message. Voicemail would be another option.
