How to take apart FMF shorty

There are instruction on the packing material for every silencer but a shorty.  DO I have to remove the threaded inserts a la turbine core?  I'm about to throw this POS across the basement.  :laugh:

I don't want to mess it up so I haven't put it in the vise yet. :think:

How do I get this thing apart. :think:
