repacking silencer

Hey, I am packing a FmF shorty silencer. I've bought the 2-stroke fiber repacking from FMF that comes in the bag. Do i need anything else to repack it, and how do you go about repacking it.. How do i clean the inner pipe and the inner casing I was thinking to use kerosene, if not what should i use?

It would appear the packing material didn't have any instructions in the bag?

Yes, but when i took apart the silencer it had some smooth yellow insulation type stuff wrapped around outside of the orange fmf packing which was wrapped outside of the inner core. The instructions only describes how to put their orange fiber fmf packing on. I dont know if i need both or what this other insulation stuff is.

I clean my inner core's with a bit of parts washer solvent and a torch.

Then once the fire is out, wire brush and it's nice and shiny clean...

Do take it outside before putting the torch to it though.
