I picked up the KTM 200 EXC about 50 miles north of Abilene today. GREAT bike and by far my favorite to ride out of the 3 I've test-ridden. Well... except for the hard seat :blah:

There were a bunch of people I saw on my way back to Ft. Worth w/bikes, I'm guessing from the Caprock Canyon enduro up in Quitaque. If anyone happened to come back on I-20 heading east, I probably saw you ;)

So, the bike is mine, my blood is turning orange, and I need to find a better parking arrangement :debil:

There's a field down the street from me on Western Center that I may check out briefly this week but I'm going camping this weekend so it'll be early April before I'm ready to hit some real trails.

Looks like you have the KTM parked right where it belongs. Although it needs to be scooted more over to the left, and the black thing needs to be moved back behide the doors. ;) Got me a KTM a couple months ago. Always lookin for a rider.E mail me , over here in Grand Prairie.

Western Center? You should swing by my place. I live off of Denton Hwy by Freedon Elementary. There's some fields a little more off the beaten path, plus some great construction stuff to roost around in. That's where I go and...ummm...dry my bike off after I pressure wash it.

Another 2-stroke rider! Good for you. Congrats on the bike.:yeehaw:

Taraker just needs the extra strokes kinda like he needs to use those really big crayons when he colors. Taraker is special. His Mom told him that the little short yellow bus he went to school in was his very own special SUV. He still thinks this to be true, so when you see him play along, OK?

Sweet lookin bike. I'd consider one of those if I was carrying about 30 less lbs or so. They're supposed to be pretty good. You'll get used to the hard seat. In the meantime I'd recommend getting some padded shorts, you're going to need them. I actually wear two pair on race weekends. MSR makes good ones (shameless sponsor plug) as does EVS.

You know about Muenster yet? That's the best place in North Texas to go ride. There's usually a group going up there. That's where most of us choose to ride because it's got the most to offer. I believe their website is www.redrivermotorcycletrails.com .

Make sure and ride that thing this summer. TORO (Texas Off-road Racing Organization) starts racing again in 7 short months. That's the best racing around. Cool weather, smaller crowds, little dust.. very beginner friendly. Several of the guys on this board participate. Some even sandbag and take away a championship from another member *cough cough* Taraker.
