LOL Bill...you did!!!

but I still like all the other sized bikes as well...even Harleys ..;)

for the record..
Thorman 75 once loaned me his CR500 to race.
I had never even ridden or started one.
Lined up and raced it and had an absolute BLAST..
couldnt think of anything else the whole 3 hour drive home but how much fun that thing was!!!
Bought one that same week and have been an open class rider ever since :)

A couple of inexpensive street tires, a tire grooving tool and a little time invested can make for a really fun little package.

That looks relatively inexpensive. Look out freshly paved parking lots!

But did you have to resurrect *all* of it? Couldn't you have left out the part where AJ stole a victory with a cheater bike?

How much suspension work does that require? Definately needs the flywheel shaved down a puond or so first, lol.

I just added the BBR springs front and rear on my TTR. It was fine for just fooling around. Lou and Pred both put YZ80 front ends on their TTRs, which is the hot setup.

I took 24 ounces off the flywheel. It's worth the effort.

Nice. My bro-in-law has one with the yz80 front end. He also shaved the flywheel and did a big bore. He had problems with tranny shafts breaking, so I'm reluctant to mod the motor. Could an out of balance flywheel cause that to happen?

Do you run the stock wheels? What kind and size of tires do you start with?
