I had my first private training session with Mike Healy today. It was awesome. We met at Glen Helen for four hours. I am a very basic beginner, but Mike had no problem adjusting to my level and working on cornering basics. I can't wait to get out to my track here in Vegas to practice what he taught me. I highly recommend Mike to anyone who is interested in improving their riding. The guy has a Supercross title yet he can relate to me and my beginning riding level. I am sure the experience would be awwesome for any level rider!

I tried to get him last year but he was BOOKED. How hard was it to get time with him and how much did the 4 hours run? I'd like to get him out with me and my boy!:)

We spent the entire lesson working on cornering. This was what I really needed . . . he covered braking into corners, body position - weight forward, elbows up, leg out, squeeze with the outside leg, etc etc etc. It sounds simple, but he really watches the details and helps you improve . . . I was amazed at how good I felt inthe corners when it all came together. The 4 hours was only $150.00 an excellent deal. I highly recommend a session for anyone. Yes he books up, but it is worth the effort to get an appointment. I guarantee a 4 hour lesson for $150.00 will make you faster than any $150 part you could add to your bike!

Mike Healy

He's a pretty cool guy. I talked to him some at Star West one night when I was in Cali. riding. Was he on a BBR TTR-125?
He was wearing shorts, a floppy hat, tee shirt and tennis shoes giving this guy some lessons on the whoops and he went through a couple of times to show the guy. Healy was probably faster through the whoops on that bike than most others on the track.

Very class act. He came into Indiana to put on a limited number riding school.
Great observations by him, he really paid attention to the smallest details
like while cornering on flat hardpacked surfaces. He even got beat by
a local pro all day at the next coming raceday and gave the local an autograph later on.
