Ignition Coil Resistance

My '81 KX420 has weak spark now. Even with a new plug, it acts like it's got a fouled one in there-- just backfires through the pipe once in a while but never starts. The stator coil resistance values check out fine, and I'll be testing the CDI tomorrow. But the manual says nothing about ignition coil test values. I checked it with a digital voltmeter, and the resistance measured is as follows:

A= hot wire from coming in from CDI
B= ground at one end of coil
C= spark plug cap

A-B = 1.1 Ohms
B-C = 10.3 kilo Ohms
A-C = 10.3 kilo Ohms

Can somebody tell me if these are in the ballpark?

On my yz, I think "a-b" is about .2-.3 ohm; a-c about 11-14k ohm, but according the manual, the a-c measurement is supposed to be without the spark plug cap which has about 4k ohm.
good luck.
