Im having a problem with my '75 xl 350, the bike will foul the spark plug after about 15 mins of riding. I dont think its the rings or a sticky valve because the compresion is good, also it has a new carb. so I dont think the problem is there. So the only other thing I can think is the ignition system, Ive tried al lot of settings for the points and spark plug gap, but none have helped. Now im thinking its the coil or condeser, but I dont know how to check those to see if that is the problem and I dont really want to spend $100 on a new coil if that isn't the problem. Can anyone tell me how to check the coil and condeser, or tell me what else could be causing the problem? Thanks.

It is a powdery carbon build up, It dosn't have any visable gas on it, also I took it to a mecanic and he didn't think it was burning oil.
