Congrats Marcus! Very cool  There will be days when you question "why" but, they are far out numbered by the days when you show your child something and you see the little light bulb click on or the excitement in their face when they accomplish something. That and the hugs make it worth every penny and lost riding day.:)

CONGRATS!!!
It will be one of the greatest things in your life! It really didn't "hit" me until right when the little guy poped out. It was like someone hit me with a right hook!
Life changed, I cried (wife didn't know I could!). We both race, enjoy weekends and life together! Get a good camera and don't miss out on the moments, they grow up VERY quickly!
"FAMILY",.................. it's so important!

Congratulations Marcus. Will you be leaving this model completely stock or do you have plans for future mods?
FYI, don't pressure wash this one, I hear the bearings won't hold up

Congrats Marcus!! Onn the contrary to getting rid of all of your toys, I think you will only be adding more to your current collection! :)

Awsome news!

Congrats Marcus!! I have a 00 and an 01 model of both gender types. When you start to think your not getting a lot of sleep, think about me. My 2 year old likes to spar with her 6 month old brother, makes for good entertainment. Looks like I have about another 1 1/2 - 2 years before I can justify the whole PW option. Its hell trying to convince the wife our daughter needs to get an early start on the track!!!;) ;)

Congrats Marcus

:) Congratulations on that new one on the way. My wife and I had our first child, a son, on October 10, 2001. There is nothing like it in the world. Truly and miracle and a blessing!

It seems anything in life worthwhile takes work, sacrifice and dedication. It's true that everything will change, but you wouldn't trade it for anything!

Once your wife hits the 6 months mark, you can't hold anything against her. My wife wanted me to power wash the house!!!!! All I could say was.....THAT SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT IDEA....and got right to it. It's a great laugher now!

Like some other people said...take advantage of the people who offer to help and take a break now and then.

Enjoy the journey!

Having kids really gets your priorities right.
My sons both ride newer bikes than me.

And nothing, I mean really NOTHING, is better than having my two little girls sitting in my lap at night and reading them a book.

Who'd have thought?

congrats marcus,
I envy all you guys with kids, must be fun to teach the little ones the ways of dirt. My niece is two and a half, maybe it's time for me to convince her parents she needs to ride :D

Congratulations! You must be very excited, scared....and a whole lot more! Good luck!

Thom & I are not parents so I'm sorry I don't have any inside info for you about that part, but I am an August model and I don't hear my parents or Thom complaining..... not an '02 August model, but we won't discuss that. :p

I heard that the minute you hold your kid for the first time, your whole life changes.

For the better unless you have kids like me:p .

Congratulations,

Me Too...

Congrats Marcus!

I just found out last night that I will have an 02 July baby myself. My last one was about 8 weeks old when I loaded the Neon up and headed to Dirtweek a year ago. I guess next year my next will be about the same when I load up and head for Dirtweek 02..... Maybe this one will be a boy... Im over ran in my house 3:1.

Soon you understand what words can never adequately express.
Yep. Truly the greatest feeling in the world is holding your new baby for the first time. I balled like a girl with both of mine......:(

Best wishes Marcus.........
