When installing forks on a bike do you just put them in the triple clamps and rotate them till the bottoms (of the fork) look straight? Could someone please explain this to me, because after doing the steering stem bearings on the cr i want to make sure i dont have to repeat it on my yz!

You should be able too set the forks in the triple clamps, tighten then line up the bottom when installing the front axle.. in other words the fork legs rotate.. Be careful not too over tighten the triple clamps and set the heighth (the amount of fork protruding out the top of the clamp)evenly..

I'm using a torque wrench for tightening in triple clamps. After tightening an axle rotate wheel then brake (do it for few times). Now you can tighten a bottom of forks on one side. Repeat it for both sides.

When I put the forks in the triple clamp I rotate them so I can access the air bleed screw. The inner tube will rotate to line up with the axle.
