Does anyone know if it is legal for a KX 100 to race in the 85cc class? I would want to know because if I can race in the 85cc class with a KX 100, I would rather get the KX 100 because of my size. (And still growing) lol Thank you

some districts run a "super mini" class and that would be where the kx 100 is legal. In a regular 85 class i would say that it would NOT be legal because of motor size and wheel size. in fact go to www.ama-cycle.org and look at the rule book for eligibilty in those classes. I think the kx100 is a little limited in its placement but its one of the only race bikes out there with that set up.

The KX100 is only legal in the SuperMini class and maybe in the Schoolboy class.

Appears you best buy would be the KX85.

why not go for a KX125, and start a little slower, you will be used to the power soon, besides the KX125 is a smooth running bike, and fun to ride.
