hi. I have a 87 KDX200 I have put a lot of new parts in it. electrical rotor, stator, main bearings, clutch job. new sprockets and chain. and I am thinking of putting new springs and seals for front and rear suspension. I am wondering if it is worth it. I do a little of mx and a lot of tough rocky trails. so is it worth it and what strength of spring?

thanks

Is any old bike worth it? Well if you like it -heck why not?

Do a search on stiffening springs for the cheaper options. You’ll have to get someone to reoil & regas the rear shock though. Make sure you flush out the forks properly.

Check the just kdx site for spring suggestions, think they list for 87ish.
