Just Bought An 06 KX 65

I just bought a used KX 65 2006 modle so My son could upgrade from his PW 80. I was wondering what I should look out for on the KX 65as far as maintenace and him ridding it.

make sure to run at least 32:1 premix. don't jet too lean. they are known for crank issues on the big end of the rod. keep em oiled and you'll be much better off. Change your filter after EVERY!!! ride.
Best bang for the buck is getting your suspension done. they are sprung for an 88lb'er.

I run 40:1 premix with no problems. Our 02 KX is still on the stock top end though I recently purchased the parts so that I can rebuild it. The bike is still running strong although I do not put nearly as much time into maintenance as I should.
