i have a friend who rides ,he got me into it . I have no idea where to start i am a true newb to this sport/hobbie, im wondering what kind of bike i should look into?

If you mean what bike should I get there is a "what bike should I get" subforum. Do a lot of searches there and then ask a few good questions. Take into consideration your inseam, your intended use for the bike (MX, trail ridding ect...), how much you want to spend and what brand of motorcycle shops are close to you. Also ask around (your area) about that specific shop, regarding the quality service that the they provides.

Remember when posting, to ask specific questions, giving a good amount of back ground to your situation and the kind of information that you want.
