Hi All, Just joined today , I currently own but do not ride a 2005 zx10r (no time) and I restore air cooled kdx and IT yamaha enduros .
I have recently finished a 1981 kdx420 and a 1982 kdx450 and nearly completed a 1981 kdx175 .
I do this purely for a hobbie and love to see the finished job as I always restore them to standard condition including the tank stickers .

Sounds like some cool bikes.

Post up some photos and be sure and pop into Canadian Daves JustKDX for help with your bikes.

Thanks for that , I will post some pics of my last project (kdx420) if someone canm let me know how to do it .
I have just been speaking with a pal who tuned a old bike of mine years ago (kdx175) he said he polished the inlet and outlet ports on the head with hemery paper by hand and also put in boyesen reeds .
That bike was awesome and the front wheel lifted no problem in the first five gears without the aid of the clutch and he has offered to do the same with the head on my kdx175 I have at the moment.
