OK, as much as I like my KDX 200 (with pipe, RadValve, etc). I'm feeling a need for a little more power. I have all the tourque I could ever want in 1-2nd gear. 3rd feels a little weak. (probalby my weight more than anything). I'm looking at moving ot a 250 or possibly punching it out to a 240.

Could 240 owners speakup and let me know what you like/don't like about it. I'm trying to decide if I should spend the bucks on this or, just trade up and end up with a better suspension in the process (YZ250, etc).

Have you considered the overbore to a 225 w/ porting as opposed to adding the 240 sleeve? The 225 route definitely gives more power and works better starting off with a 200 per EG.

As a 240 owner I'd say you're better off overall with a non-sleeve solution. The 240 is capable of more, but it requires a lot of dedication. It's more prone to overheating and seizing. The top end power isn't necessarily much better than a hot 200/220/225. The gains are more in the bottom and mid range.
