Here is the start of my hybrid pictured with my '97 KDX200. I just put it together in case I have to go back to sea tomorrow. The hybrid is a '02 200 engine in a '01 CR250 chassis.

In the long run I believe it would have been cheaper to buy a complete CR and detune to engine.

I'll second that.

But then you have a 125 with a detuned engine. Where as with the hybrid you get the nicely tuned kdx motor in a nicer chassis. If you buy a cr125 with a dead motor or a runner for a good price you can do the swap for less than 500.00 (or like me I'll be glad to get in under 800 as I bought it piece by piece and fixed things up). The hybrid gets my vote! Also because it provides good used KDX parts for the guys who keep their bikes stock.

I won't say what this is costing just in case my wife sees this. I didn't want to use the engine out of my KDX, so I have had to buy everything.

I have everything on hand now except a KDX coil and rear brake pedal.
