Kelsorat and I cancelled the Colorado trip since response from the Crew was so lukewarm. We're going to KM instead. We'll be arriving up there the night of August the 9th at Fish Creek campground. 2 day rides on the 10th, 2 day rides on the 11th, and 1 day ride on the 12th. Night rides also a possibility. Maybe some swimming, too.

I very well may have a new ride for the trip ! Scar Face kinda inspired me.

Hmmm. Somthing to think about.

Hope the rain keeps up, last weekend was realy nice riding.

Thanks bud ! :cool: It's a brand new 2005 Dealer's Edition 250. It was supposed to be a back up bike for the factory Gas Gas riders during the recent WEC rounds here in North America - but they never needed to use it. It's never been started - comes with the full factory warranty. Cool thing is it comes with the pipe the factory guys use as well as factory Team Gas Gas graphics. My big tank, Fastway lowboy footpegs, and tall seat from my 300 will all fit it perfectly. I should have it in a few days.

You still up for Invaders ? I am. Big time.

Are you guys still doing this ride? I've never been to KM but I'd be stoked on doing a ride during the week to get away from the weekend crowd. Can I tent camp up there without being worried about being eaten by a wild animal???

Oh, I'm also a novice rider as well so if you guys are experts you may have to wait for me sometimes.

We'll be up there Wednesday night, riding all Thursday and Friday, and in the morning on Saturday. We're camping at Fish Creek Campground.

The last bear attack in that campground was 3 weeks ago
so you should be OK for a few more weeks.

These two guys are not experts but pretty close. They very humble and don't mind waiting on us slower guys. They will just haul ass to the next crossing, have a samich and wait for you.

BTW - I'm kidding about the bears. Tent camping is great up there.

I was up there when it raines. Sucked couldnt even ride because we didnt have covers for out tents so all our bags got wet. PLus I locked my keys up there. That was a major pain. More work than a trip. Gonna try again soon though. The riding up there was some of the funnest I had

What are you guys driving? Do you guys mind another guest? What time are you arriving on Wednesday? As it looks right now I should be able to make it up on Wednesday night as well. Black Ranger with an 06 YZ 250.

I've been told my parts will arrive tomorrow, so I think we're still on schedule.

So I guess we will know for sure by Wed afternoon. If Eel's parts arrive, then I'll plan on leaving around 7pm. That gets me up there by 11pm. Tan 4runner with a bike carrier on back.

I am going to be taking off today around 12:00 or 1:00 in the afternoon. I guess I will grab a spot in the fish creek campground.

Hope your parts come, if not then I will try and hook up with someone else's ride party. See you later (Maybe).

I will check this until about noon.
