Hey folks.
The bike is an 03 KTM 250 SX.
Last year I put on a new coil and wire from Nology. Possibly some of the best money you can spend. But that's not the point.
At the same time the kill switch stopped working. I don't know why. I checked the switch and the actual switch is working properly. The ground wire.. is grounded. And where the wire goes into the CDI box has continuity (however it's spelled).
I suspect that the coil (ProFire) is somehow screwing up the setup. But I REFUSE to go back to stock now.
What I want to know is: Can I simply splice into the pos or neg wire leading into the coil and when I hit the kill have that wire be grounded out to kill the bike? And if I can, which wire would I use?
Thanks!
Morgan
