Since I am going to change the rear sprocket anyway on my son's KX 100......The 428 conversions
Does any one make a steel rear sprocket about 53-54 teeth? Sprocket specialties and Renthal have aluminum and seems to defeat the purpose of extended durability O-ring chain?? Will it clear the cases and chain guide?
Thanks

I converted to a 428 chain on mine. I ordered steel JT sprockets from dennis kirk front and rear. The main thing with aluminum sprockets is the weight savings. The chain clears the cases but i had to shave the inside of the chain guide a little bit with a dremel. Just keep on top of chain maintenance and you'll be fine with steel sprockets.
