KX - KDX Hybrid pics

HI ALL,new to the forum,wicked looking bikes,ebeck dont suppose you know if its possible with a 91 kx125,thanks .

Thanks for that, my main concern is the swing arm as suspension link is mounted between engine mount and swingarm,cheers steve.

It is possible you will have to cut the inside of the swingarm mount to clear the KDX case mount. No biggie that is just empty space. It carries no load.

Do a search to find my post o the 02 build I did. I showd the swingarm mod. I did not show it on the 03 but I hd to do it on that year as well.

The KDX motor is based on the 88-92 range of KX125 motors. It is possible that it will drop right in wit zero mods.

I had to cut off and weld in new motor mounts to do the 02 and 03 bike. Had to weld on new pipe hngers for the 03 as well.

Thanks,looks like it will be easyer than i expected after looking at them both in more detail,has to wait till next weekend now though,as i have to pick up a new toy for the roads, an old 90s zzr600,will keep you posted .
