Kx250 pilot jet

I have a 92 kx250 pro circuit pipe and stock silencer
Boyesen rad valve at idle it loads up really bad screw out the air screw and it smooths out if you take it all the way out
I know it needs a smaller pilot but I'm not sure how low to go it has a #55 now I was thinking about a #45 because of how bad it loads up....Or should I start with a #50????
OH yeah its a Mikuni carb.....

If it were mine I would just drop one size at a time. You might be surprised how much difference one size will make!
